Before and After School
Lake Shore Schools offers a recreational before and after school program for students who attend Lake Shore Schools as well as students who attend neighboring schools in the community.
Before School
Our before school program starts at 6:45 am at our Clark Street location and 7:15 am at our Greenview location. A nutritious breakfast is provided for all students. Lake Shore Schools provides drop off services for students who attend the neighborhood schools listed below.
After School
Our after school program is open to all school-aged children in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students are divided into groups by grade-level to participate in a variety of recreational, social and enrichment activities such as: sports, team building, arts and crafts, large motor activities in the gym/outside and much more! Students are offered choices whenever possible to make the program fun for everyone. A quiet place is also provided for students who would like to complete their homework.
Lake Shore Schools after school program starts as early as 2:15 pm and ends at 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday. A nutritious snack is provided daily for all students enrolled in the program.
Pick-Up and Drop Off
Lake Shore Schools currently offers drop-off and pick-up services from the following neighborhood schools:
- Kilmer Elementary School: 6700 N. Greenview Avenue
- New Field Elementary School: 1707 W. Morse Avenue
- Hayt Elementary School: 1518 W. Granville Avenue
- Stone Academy: 6239 N. Leavitt Street
- Pierce Elementary School: 1423 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue
