My name is Miss Amanda and I am the Education Coordinator. 

Education 

I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education from Eastern Illinois University.

Work related experience 

While in college I was an infant teacher in a day care center.  After student teaching I worked in an inclusive preschool classroom.  Recently, I have now been at Lake Shore Schools for four years working as a teacher of 15 month olds to 3 year olds and now working as an administrator.  

Why I work in the field of education 

Since I was little I always wanted to be a teacher.  I grew up making worksheets and teaching my stuffed animals.

 Lake Shore Schools is a warm positive environment that children and families enjoying being part of.  I enjoy being part of a school that feels like a family.  

What do I do when I'm not at school? 
I enjoy working out, reading and spending time with family and friends.
